I went with my husband as his carer and wanted a cup of tea while he was being treated. I helped myself from the “Refreshment” machine and was upbraided by a nurse who told me it was for “patients only” and that I was no allowed to help myself because someone had broken it earlier. I find this very petty: the machine is not difficult to use and why deny a patient’s carer/companion a cup of tea?

All the staff were excellent but I wish to say a particular thanks to the radiographer and helper with ct Scanner. They were very professional and efficient but they were also very kind. It was not easy to position me for the scans, I have serious spinal problems. They could not have done more for me. They were brilliant. However, I have a minor criticism. If the trolley I was on for the scan had been a foot wider I would have been able position myself safely without fear of falling off. I could hardly move without help from both your guys.
