It is ridiculously limiting and frustrating to try and get an appointment - even when requested to contact the surgery to discuss results. You have a limited window of 8:30am - 8:31am Thursday morning to try and obtain an appointment...miss the small window of opportunity and you have to ring back the week after because all the appointments have gone (even if you manage to get through the appointment will be weeks away!). So tried on-line as I am registered for online services to be presented with the message - Sorry, your practice does not currently have any appointment slots that can be booked online! 🤦♂️ What's the point of an on-line service you cannot utilise? Even if the appointment will be weeks in advance (as it will be even if you call in) at least allow it to be booked rather than having to go through the telephone lottery on Thursday morning to be told it will be weeks in advance and take up receptionist time. Can you imagine utilising your supermarkets app they encourage you to use to save time to do your online shopping to then be told there is no food available! Seriously can things get any worse in the NHS service (probably!). it is a total mess and any other business run in this manner would have closed down a long time ago. The management of the NHS is a mess and needs a total overhaul - this is not a reflection of the workers who have to work with the broken system.
