I had an appointment on March 26 at a local Health Centre. The following day I received a text from the surgery asking me to call for a COPD update. On March 27th I rang for an appointment and told April 4th at 16.10 hours. Except upon arrival I was told I did not have an appointment! When asking to speak to my registered GP there were a number of sardonic laughs from the waiting room before the receptionist responded "I sorry Dr * isn't in today". Previously I have had my prescription cancelled in direct contravention to medical advice because I didn't take a blood test. In fact I had booked three blood tests each of which had been cancelled by the surgery. If you want to see a different Doctor every time you visit who, whilst (unsupervised) in your appointment has to leave the consulting room to get another opinion this is the place for you.
