   From the moment of entry I knew I was in a caring, happy and loving environment. It felt safe. There was a pleasant smell. Folk were smiling, inviting and I was a stranger searching for a home for my mother. Residents were happy and chatting to each other. Some were singing in the corner led by a visiting entertainer. At last, after my great search I had found a home suitable for my darling mother. The Manager reassured me that her individual needs would be cared for and what was important, I believed her. Carers past me saying hello and smiling. I was led to a lovely vacant room which was to be my mother’s own room. Larger than I expected with everything there that she would need to keep her cared for and comfortable. I felt reassured again. Questions and answered flowed for quite some time. I was led out to the garden and terrace, “ Where you can arrange your private family gatherings” I was told. I actually felt excited and relieved. This I’m sure is the start of an adventure. Thank you God for bringing me here. Mam is going to love this.
