Over the last 2 1/2 years our family have always felt that the Management and Staff provided a very caring and safe environment for our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. We all visit her frequently and it seems a happy workplace for staff. During the extremes and restrictions of the Covid epidemic they coped very well. We would recommend this Nursing Home to those who value kindness, professional care and cleanliness above showy marketing and a "luxury" lifestyle.

This weekend we used the conservatory for a family get together, it was lovely as my mum got to meet her great granddaughter for the first time and we could open the doors onto the garden, it is a beautiful setting. The staff provided us with tea and coffee and couldn’t have done anymore. It was really lovely as it made mum really feel that she was inviting family into her home, she and we had a really lovely afternoon all made extra special by the staff going that extra mile to help this occasion take place.

Mum has been there for almost 2 years, and the quality of care is very good. She would obviously rather be at home, but she would not be able to cope, and I don't think she could be better cared for any ware else. She says that the food is always very good (an important thing to her). The staff keep us informed of any problems, and we are regular visitors.

I have no concerns about my motherscare at Pinewood - i know she would still rather be in her own home but atv100 that is just not possible even though she things it is!! Staff all caring.

Very sad times and in difficult circumstance brought my Aunt went to live at Pinewood at 100 years old, she has settled well despite going through lock downs and visiting restrictions and only seeing masks and gowns etc she has come out the other side safe and sound. A great team who are dedicated and caring and obviously kind to my Aunt as they are to me..My Aunt has just celebrated her 102nd birthday

The staff at this home are absolutely fabulous with our relative and could not be kinder no matter how she behaves with them. The room is adequate although small but our relative loves it. My only criticism would be that as a diabetic the diet is often surprising and there doesn't appear to be a system where all the staff know what that diet should be. Maybe a visible band for staff to see at a glance and some staff training in this area would be helpful. Everything else runs smoothly though with plenty of activities for the residents and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

Pinewood provides wonderful care for my 93year old grandmother. She has been living there for over 2 years and receives excellent nursing care. She has formed lovely relationships with the staff and other residents. She especially loves the food and very appreciative to be able to have all her Favourite dishes.
