   My father spent just a few weeks at this care home in February 2023. We felt the environment was nice, he had a nice bright room, the care staff seemed lovely etc, the meals that I saw all looked good. The only thing that let it down was at the very end. We were called in to see our father who was poorly but left after a few hours thinking he'd be around a few more days, but sadly that wasn't to be, and so we went back a couple of hours later after they'd called to say he'd passed away. From the minute he was gone, it was like he'd been written off off (and us too). We were asked if we had an undertaker, and the doctor arrived to verify the death whilst we were in with dad. Even the doctor seemed a little surprised at their (the staff's) lack of tact. There was no information given as to what to do when someone has died ie registering the death etc I wrote an email to the manager just expressing my disappointment and sadness at this , but never even got an acknowledgment .
