My mum has been in this home for a year and a half. From the second she was placed there she's had constant care from every member of staff. She was very depressed when my dad died and lost a lot of weight. She's now gained the weight she lost and looks so much healthier. Mum's made friends there and no longer feels alone. Its a very home from home approach, the food is cooked fresh on the premises too (it's very good). I wouldn't want mum to be anywhere else, the team there are kind, caring and attentive, we love them.

My father had been a resident of Little Heaton care home for 3 years. From the moment he was accepted and arrived he settled down. His dementia had become worse and we could no longer take care of him at his home. The staff have been excellent. They treated him with respect and kindness. They looked after him and helped him enjoy his final years. I can only praise and thank them for this. I felt safe knowing dad was safe. They kept me informed if he was ill or needed items such as clothing etc. Over the three years of his stay the home has been refurbished. It is clean and tidy, well staffed. Meals served are of high quality and personal care for those who need help with eating is excellent. I can only say that if one of your loved ones needs permanent or respite care just ring the home and you will be invited to visit.
