   My father, who had dementia, lived at Fridhem for the last 8 months of his life, and the care he received in that time was second to none. The staff were very caring, and treated all their residents as individuals. The team made great efforts to communicate with the family, and ensure we were kept informed of any emerging health needs, which were always addressed promptly. As an experienced health care professional myself, I was particularly appreciative of the quality of end of life care, and the support we were given as a family at such a difficult time. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending this care home to anyone in terms of confidence that their relative will be well cared for - moving a relative out of their own home and into care is always going to be difficult, but the experience was made less painful by seeing the genuine warmth and care that the staff held for the residents, and the high quality of care provided.
