My mother has been with this company for just over a month now and the service she has received has been well below expectations. The company and the carers are totally unprofessional. The carers are always clock-watching and not focused on the care they should be providing. They rush my mother and do not follow instructions given by my mother or by me. They ignore notes left for them. The carers want to do things their way with no concern for the wishes of the client or family members. Some of the carers are rude and arrogant. I have complained to the company about these and request that the carer is not sent out again yet the company still send them out. The carers do not wear uniforms or have ID cards. A few of them keep their coats on when carrying out their duties. On one occasion a carer turned up 90 minutes before the allotted call time. The carer stated that my mother was her last call and didn't want to go home then have to come back out again. When we asked her to come back she refused and wanted to log in so that she would get paid. We refused her to do this and she stormed out banging all the doors (some of which contained glass) on her way out. I contacted the office and reported this and they had to find another carer to come out at the correct time. The out of hours service is beyond a joke. I have three mobile numbers but when I ring them they never get answered. After a few rings they go to voicemail. I leave messages but no one calls back. On Sunday 8th January 2023 I had to call the out of hours. One number went straight to voicemail. The other two rang out before going to voicemail. After 20 minutes of calling the numbers one of them went straight to voicemail as if the phone had been switched off by the user. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I have put that many complaints to the company but no one has bothered to look into them and try to resolve them. All last week I have been trying to speak to the Care Manager but she was not in the office. The staff told me they didn't know where she was and had no way of contacting her. This morning I called the office to speak to the Care Manager and was told that she wasn't in the office and they didn't know when she would be in. I stated that I was looking for another company and would be speaking to the Social Worker, Birmingham City Council as well as the CQC with regards to their service and lack of response. I asked for a call back within 30 minutes. At the time of writing this review I am still awaiting a call back nearly an hour after my call.
