  1. Review titled Brilliant appointment with Consultant

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was seen in the Oral Surgery Clinic and felt valued and listened to as a patient. I got answers to questions and a pathway going forward to treatment in the future. At no time did I feel rushed.

I had a great experience during my day case procedure under the Gynae Department. I felt reassured and supported from the outpatient department right to the day of my operation. The Gynaecologist, Anaesthetist, Nurses and the Theatre staff were friendly, professional, supportive and reassuring. Overall a positive experience for me. I am very grateful to all for looking after me.

  4. Review titled Thank you to A&E

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My husband had to come into A&E at 5 am one morning this July. All the staff were very kind, patient and willing to help. They all gave a lot of care and attention to my husband. He was there all day because he was waiting for a bed. We want to say thank you to all the nurses, doctors, porters, cleaners etc who were all working hard in a difficult environment.

  5. Review titled Amazing professionalism

I am extremely grateful to all the staff on Tilney ward for looking after my mum and working so hard to keep her alive. It was amazing to see their friendliness, compassion, efficiency and professionalism all in massive quantities, as well as their co-ordination with Papworth. Thank you all so much.

  6. Review titled Compassionate team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have recently spent 6 weeks on the sandringham unit of kings lynn hospital. All the staff from ward managers down to the cleaners made my stay so pleasant with their caring attitude and compassion. The whole nhs would benefit if they modelled it on this unit. I suffer from depression and anxiety but the staff on sandringham made me feel so comfortable I wish I could award them all a medal to show my gratitude. They are like angels send from god above

  7. Review titled Very happy with the treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by hamish collin - Posted on 09 July 2023

I was taken to the hospital on the 19.06.23 because of a low heart rate. The ambulance drivers were very considerate as were the nurses and doctors in A and E . After one night in A and E I was moved to the Acute Medical Ward where I was given adequate meals and again had attentive nurses and finally a clinician who explained what the treatment was going to be . After a further night I was allowed to go home since the hospital accepted that my low heart rate was not a problem . I found all the staff very helpful and the facilities good.

  8. Review titled Excellent experience with Urgent Care & Eye Centre

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Nancy Rocker - Posted on 14 June 2023

While on holiday in Heacham from the United States I experienced a rapid onset medical issue one morning with my eye. Referred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by the local surgery, the A and E staff competently and pleasantly managed my registration and then directed me to Urgent Care. The Urgent Care staff were very busy. They cheerfully helped each patient in turn. My consultant was thorough, polite and carefully explained what was needed to get a thorough diagnosis by an emergency care ophthalmologist. An emergency appointment was arranged for that afternoon at the West Norfolk Eye Centre, a beautiful and well-maintained facility adjacent to the hospital. The Eye Centre staff are wonderful. Calm, thoughtful care was received all along the way, from a cheerful receptionist, competent vision tester, ophthalmologist and ophthalmology nurse. I was very impressed with how the entire team coordinated their efforts to help me remain calm in a stressful situation, arrive at a diagnosis and develop a course of treatment that took into account my holiday itinerary throughout England and Wales. I deeply appreciate the wonderful urgent care I received. It was everything a frightened overseas visitor could hope for. Thank you, thank you, thank you to all. You are an amazing team.

  10. Review titled A&E Staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 May 2023

I cannot give enough praise for the staff in the A&E department, day and night. The level of compassion, empathy and care that they gave to my family member who was passing was amazing. Nothing was too much and they went above and beyond to ensure he was comfortable and dignified even in death. If only all healthcare workers could work to the same quality of care. They should all be proud of themselves. Thank you!
