    I am very grateful to all staff of hand surgery in clinic 4. They operated my cat bite wound with local blocks professionally, efficiently and perfect aftermath. As always, I am especially grateful to all nurses & admin staff for taking care of me and organising the visits. I will be back :-)

  2. Review titled 7 month wait for Cardiology !!!!

    I’m literally in shock. I have been referred to Cardiology. I get the letter finally telling me to book my Cardiology appt. 4 choices. Great you would think ! No. Not great at all. Absolutely appalling. Not a single Cardiology clinic has an appointment !!!! None. Nothing. Zero. I also read that 9/10 patients get seen by 30 weeks. 30 weeks !!!! That is over 7 months !!!! This obviously means that people must be dying waiting for Cardiologist appointments !! Then it said oh if no one contacts you by the end of March you can then call them up. Never ever have I heard of such a diabolical situation regarding possible urgent help. We are not talking about Arthritis here. We are talking about possible serious heart issues. I’m appalled and disgusted. It does not even tell you each clinics specific waiting times. Other than saying the 30 weeks for all !! It’s a complete and utter disaster. Let’s see if anyone even bothers to contact me. I won’t hold my breath.

    Disgraceful disabled service following 2 previous journeys with carer to help me (and staff) this time they said carer not allowed, my appointment was for 3.15 I didnt get home till 9pm as driver took me to the wrong address and thought I was someone else then dumped me back at the hospital, a very kind lady found another transport for me. I was stressed before this. I would never go back there horrendous experience

    No words could explain the incredible quality of care I received at Royal Free. Having been admitted for emergency surgery, my end to end experience was extraordinary. I am forever grateful and would recommend the hospital to anyone in need or emergency care.

    Thank you so much to the most amazing ward. The doctors/ surgeons work so hard to help everyone they are so efficient. The nurses are so caring and will do anything to help you feel better. I could not be more grateful after being looked after so well for 8 days

    Brilliant doctors and nurses. But the receptionists and the people you first deal with need more training on how to speak to people and families who are distressed because they don’t know what to do. They just expect everyone to know everything and are very unhelpful in giving info. I truly don’t understand why some of the staff work in a hospital. So rude and aggressive.

    I could not send enough appreciation toward both teams for the incredible experience my husband and I had at the Royal Free. We had the most wonderful midwife, the labour team and aftercare team were all so passionate, caring and warm and the hospital was clean and comfortable. My entire pregnancy journey was marvellous from beginning to end even when we needed to return to hospital with our newborn baby. Thank you Royal Free maternity and labour teams for being so utterly fantastic!!

    For God's sake, do something about the appalling pharmacy and wait times. Is it really acceptable to expect people, many ill or unable to stand, to stand in queues for an hour? Yesterday, 25 minutes in a queue to get a ticket, then over 30 minutes in another queue to collect. A hot, airless room, with over 50 people, was in immense pain and nearly fainting by the time I got my meds. And this isn't a one-off. Shameful.

    I saw a Consultant from the Neurology department of the Royal Free in April, July and September 2022. After more than 1 year wait and being asked to try other ineffective medications, the consultant confirmed that I was going to receive treatment (a new medication, called Aimovig, that I had to inject by myself). At the end of May 2023, I am still waiting and no one bothered to contact me with an update, or offer another appointment to review the situation. Disgraceful patient care!
