My mum had to go to ane on the 12/01/24 the doctor she saw was absolutely brilliant! Very caring, very professional! The nhs need More doctors like she is , my mum was admitted that eve because of a heart attack and blood clot , she's 93 years old, I know I'm not supposed to mention staff names , so her initials are vs ! excellent doctor! thank you!

I'm very grateful to the ENT team, I have been blown away today by the professionalism, detail, reassurance, non hurried approach & kindness of the out patent team.

having returned from the hospital re having had a flexible cystoscopy staff thoroughly professional and reassuring. procedure not embarrassing and performed quickly whilst keeping one informed well done to all involved and many thanks.

My mum has been in hospital since 11/7 on two different wards one good one not ( that’s a review that will be given once she is out of the hospital) . She was given a discharge date that had had to be changed because she caught covid. My gripe is patients are not given covid vaccines why ???? They are obviously vulnerable they are in hospital why is this the policy ?

Called to ask about blood test results and the man on the phone I first got through too was extremely rude, asked me if he was supposed to just guess my name we've tho I was waiting for him to ask, I wouldn't ever come back here and I'd stick to the northern general

I have to take my son to the hospital regularly but the parking is ridiculous. I'm meant to be there to help him back to the car but am having to park by the burger van over the road, even though there are so many staff spaces empty and the parking for staff by the co op is half empty too. It's really unfair.

What A Joke!!!! Tried for over an hour in the 2 car parks we had be given ....chaos everywhere, no one could park, because half of the spaces had been allocated to staff!!!!! Expanding the hospital but not the car parks to a commodate the number of people attending appointments....hope yo god I won't be returning soon !!!

I was in Chesterfield Royal Hospital for a routine colonoscopy examination and all the staff were so friendly and supportive. The doctor talked me through the procedure in detail and explained exactly what would happen. He also kept me updated throughout and answered my questions afterwards. This really helped me to keep as calm as possible. I have nothing but 100% praise for all the staff in the Endoscopy Unit! Thank you.

Spent a night on surgical assement ward all the staff are very caring and couldn’t be more helpful also went to endoscopy and was so well treated even though I was very afraid I was put at my ease
