Blind Life in Durham (B.L.I.N.D.) is a young organisation established in 2004, managed by a committee of visually impaired volunteers, to help and support the blind and partially sighted community in County Durham.

For over 30 years the Langbaurgh Talking Newspaper For The Blind has produced a monthly cassette tape of local news and magazine items which is sent out to blind and visually impaired people who live in Redcar and Cleveland district or who have links with the area.
