We bring the local news - thanks to the Crewe and Nantwich editions of The Chronicle, to more than 100 visually impaired local people every week. Something we have been doing for over 30 years.

ASSIST provides support for people with a sensory impairment. The service provides Sign Language Interpreters, Communication Support Workers, Note takers, Deafblind Communicator Guides. Braille, Moon and audio description is also available.

We give visually impaired people a way of keeping in touch with news and events in the local community. The Stafford and Stone Talking Newspaper for the Blind provides a free audio recording of local news every week of the year. The Newstape is completely free of charge to anyone in our area.
