'Upbeat Heart Support Group' is a registered independent charity set up by ex-cardiac patients with the aim of providing exercise, social and health educational activities for those who have had heart attacks or other heart related problems, and their partner or carer.

We are a group of ex-patients of mainly Southend Hospital's Cardiac Care Unit, though not exclusively, who together with partners and friends meet every second Thursday of the month at the Eastwood Community Center, Western Approaches, Eastwood, Leigh on Sea, Essex SS2 6SH.
