About Pulmo Bailly and how it works

This medicine helps relieve coughs associated with conditions such as colds and flu, bronchial catarrh, laryngitis and pharyngitis. It contains two main ingredients: guaiacol and codeine. Guaiacol is an expectorant and helps clear the chest by thinning secretions so that they can easily be coughed up. Codeine suppresses the urge to cough. It causes drowsiness which is helpful for night time coughs.

This medicine is available in the form of a liquid which is mixed with water or fruit squash before taking by mouth. This medicine should be taken before meals.

Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after five days, or if they get worse during treatment with this medicine.
