About Doublebase bath additive and how it works

This medicine helps treat and prevent dry, rough, and itchy skin associated with conditions such as dermatitis and eczema. It contains liquid paraffin which is an emollient that rehydrates dry skin by helping it retain moisture. It replaces skin oils and forms a waterproof barrier on the skin surface preventing water loss. This moisturises and softens the skin underneath and prevents it from drying out.

This medicine is available in the form of a liquid which is added to bath water.

After using it, rinse off the excess and pat your skin dry with a towel. Avoid rubbing your skin with the towel as it can cause irritation.

This medicine can make the bath slippery. Take care not to slip when entering or getting out of the bath.

Speak to your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse during treatment with this medicine.
