About Adult Meltus Chesty Coughs and how it works

This medicine helps relieve coughs and catarrh associated with flu, colds and mild throat infections. It contains two main ingredients: guaifenesin and cetylpyridinium chloride. Guaifenesin is an expectorant and helps clear the chest by thinning secretions so that they can easily be coughed up. Cetylpyridinium chloride is an antiseptic and helps treat mouth and throat infections.

This medicine is available as a liquid which is taken by mouth.

Consult your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse during treatment with this medicine.
