Video: glaucoma

Glaucoma is a group of eye conditions that affect eyesight and can cause blindness.

On this page there are two videos about glaucoma. Acute glaucoma is a rare type of glaucoma that can affect anyone, but people from south Asian communities are more likely to develop it. Eye checks can save your sight because they can detect glaucoma in the early stages. If glaucoma is detected early, treatment can prevent further loss of vision.

In the first video, Aruna talks about how she was diagnosed with glaucoma and the treatment she has.
