• The risk of sexual transmission of hepatitis C in a stable, long-term monogamous relationship is low, and there is no need to change sexual practices. Your partner may want to be tested for hepatitis C.

• If you don’t know someone’s sexual history then always use a condom. Only condoms can provide all-in-one protection against pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections such as HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C
