Worried about a partner?
Do you have hepatitis C?
The risk of sexual transmission of hepatitis C in a stable, long-term monogamous relationship is low, and there is no need to change sexual practices. Your partner may want to be tested for hepatitis C.
Do you think your partner may have hepatitis C?
If you don’t know someone’s sexual history then always use a condom. Only condoms can provide all-in-one protection against pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections such as HIV, hepatitis B and hepatitis C
If you think someone you know has been at risk of hepatitis C in the past, encourage them to take our
quick questionnaire
to see if they could have it. If there is a chance, they should go to their GP for advice about being tested
