Mac - Making text larger in Open Office Writer
Below are the step-by-step instructions on how to increase the text size in Open Office Writer for OS X
You can increase the on-screen size of the text, without affecting how it will print out, by using the zoom function. To do this:
Click the ‘ View ‘ menu. (No keyboard shortcut)
Click on ‘ Zoom ‘ or press ‘ Z ‘. See Fig 1.
This will display the ‘ Zoom ‘ box as shown in Fig 2.
Either click on a radio button (for example 150%), or use the ‘ up ‘ and ‘ down ‘ arrows, to select the zoom level you want. If you want to use your own value select the radio button ‘ Variable ‘ and type in the value you want.
When you have chosen or typed in a value, click ‘ OK ‘ or press ‘ Enter ‘ to return to the document.
Note: If this does not work it could be because your computer settings cannot be changed due to local IT policies - contact your local IT support for further help.
