Archive: Community health areas 2008 onwards

Fantastic work has already been done across England by the 83 Communities for Health areas, which began promoting the use of NHS LifeCheck products among teens, parents and carers from October 2008.

Teams from these areas have also been working with health professionals to help them use the products in their everyday work. Promoting these achievements and sharing examples of best practice will increase the effectiveness of the NHS LifeCheck programme.

The case studies provide examples of what has been proven to work, as well as things you may want to avoid. They may help you develop your own plans for promoting NHS LifeCheck and give you ideas of how to integrate it into your work.
