NHS Choices annual report

NHS Choices is the digital gateway for the public to access NHS information and advice.

Since it was launched in 2007, NHS Choices has grown to become the most popular health website in the UK and now has more than 10 million visits each month.

The 2011 annual report gives an overview of the NHS Choices service and its achievements over the past year.

It shows that the service has become an integral part of the NHS, used increasingly by health professionals as well as the public, and that it offers a range or opportunities for improving service provision and reducing costs across the health service.
