Professor Anthony E Young


Tony Young was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Southend Hospital in 2007, with a special interest in stone surgery, laser prostate surgery and general urology. He is also clinical lead for innovation at Southend and CEO of Enterprise Medical the Trust’s first spin-out Company.


In 2010 he was appointed as Professor of Medical Innovation at Anglia Ruskin University and is Director of Medical Innovation at the Postgraduate Medical Institute. His purpose in this role is to facilitate excellence in medical device innovation across the region.
