The Priory Hospital Preston is an independent adult mental health hospital, specialising in the management and treatment of a wide range of mental health problems. The facility has established an excellent reputation for offering calming and recovery focused residential treatment for up to 20 individuals. Personalised treatment programmes are delivered by a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.
Acute mental health
The hospital has the expertise to treat most acute mental health conditions including depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive states, schizophrenia and all major acute psychiatric illnesses. Treatment is provided on an inpatient, day care and outpatient basis.
Addiction treatment programme
Treatment for substance and behavioural dependency, such as alcohol, drugs or gambling. The programme includes a free, no obligation assessment, weekly aftercare support for 12 months and family support during and post treatment. A detoxification service is also available for those not requiring the full 28 day programme.
Eating disorder service
Effective programmes for the successful treatment of anorexia, bulimia, binge eating and other related conditions.
We offer flexible access to treatment and ensure that individual circumstances are taken into account and the most appropriate treatment plan is drawn up. Options include:
- Session by session basis
- As an inpatient
- Half and full day programmes
Appointments are available in evenings Monday to Friday and on Saturday mornings.
