Minor Injury Unit

Open every day between 8am and 10pm.

Camborne Redruth's MIU has been extended to enable people with minor illness to be seen.

Camborne Redruth is now also an Urgent Care Centre, open seven days a week from 11am to 7pm. They are able to treat minor to moderate injuries and illness without an appointment - click here for details 

The hospital's X-Ray department is open week days between 9am and 8pm and 12pm till 6pm on weekends. 



There are 3 car parks within the hospital grounds. Parking is free.

  • 1 at the Outpatient’s Dept 
  • 2 in the general hospital area.  
  • There are 5 disabled spaces in the Outpatient’s area and 2 in the main entrance. Disabled drop off and parking available at outpatients with level access into the building.

The hospital offers refreshment facilities in the Outpatients Department run by the Royal Volunteer Service and drink/snack machines can be found opposite the Minor Injury Unit.

Visiting Hours

Lamorna Ward

Between 2.30pm to 5.30pm in the afternoon and 6.30pm to 8pm in the evening. We operate a protected mealtime policy on the wards between 12pm and 1pm and 5.30pm and 6.30pm. 

What are protected mealtimes?

Lanyon Ward
Lanyon now runs open visiting times for relatives and visitors.
There are now no structured visiting times.

There is no inpatient laundry service.

Inpatient daily newspapers are available on request.
