We have extensive and modern facilities you would expect in progressive district general hospitals, including MRI and CT scanners, intensive and coronary care units.
We have lower than average waits for diagnostic tests and are meeting our 18 week waits for treatment. Our mortality rate is lower than expected.
Our newly refurbished birthing unit has four brand new birthing pools and ensuite rooms decorated to a high standard.
We also offer amenity rooms for those patients who would wish to be nursed in a single room with ensuite facilities for an additional charge. Our amenity bed scheme is not a form of private treatment and all your clinical care will be provided on the NHS. Income generated by the amenity bed scheme is always reinvested into NHS patient care.
