Overview

Central Middlesex Hospital Entrance

Central Middlesex is part of the North West London Hospitals NHS Trust, whose services to patients were judged to be ‘excellent’ by the national regulator, the Care Quality Commission, in 2009. Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal is one of London's most modern – and stylish hospitals. It was formally opened in 2008 as a completely new £85 million hospital treating local people with a range of conditions. The hospital has an  A&E department but it is temporarily not a 24 hour service. From 14 November 2011 the A&E will be open from 8am-7pm. There is a 24 hour Urgent Care Centre run by Care UK on site next to A&E. The hospital carries out a wide range of routine operations for local people, most as ‘day case’ procedures so that they can return home the same day.
