New Computer System
At the beginning of December the practice is changing its clinical database.
This is a huge project to transfer all 12,000 patient records over to a new system.
This will mean that we will be running reduced clinics the week before our new system goes live. We will be open as normal but concentrating on seeing those patients who need to be seen urgently.
The GPs want to limit the number of prescriptions that are written during that week, so if you have repeat medication, please put your request in before the middle of November.
It will also mean that once the new system is in, all our staff may take a little longer to use the system.
We apologise if this causes any inconvenience but the new system will bring benefits in terms of access to data and how clinicians record information.
