Newick Health Centre &

Chailey Surgery

January 2012

Dr P H Ashby has retired after 30 years at the practice – we wish him all the very best for his retirement.

*    Dr J V Elliot is now the Senior Partner for the practice

*   We would like to welcome Dr R Rajan to the practice as a new partner.  Dr Rajan will be taking over the care of Dr Ashby’s patients.

*   A Patient Reference Group has been set up for the practice which enables our patients to provide feedback, suggestions, concerns or compliments to the practice which helps us with planning future services and health events.   All patients are welcome to join this group. If you are interested in joining the patient reference group please contact Julia Beard – Practice Manager or ask at reception for further details.

*   A big thank you to the ‘Friends of Newick Health Centre’ for their kind donation of the following items:

2 x 24hr blood pressure machines

1x 72hr ECG event recording machine

2x Pulse Oximeters

2x Otoscopes

This equipment will be of benefit to all of our patients.  We would also like to recognise the good work the ‘Friends’ do for practice community – with a special mention to the Drivers who offer a volunteer service helping patients with transport difficulties to be able to get into the practice.

*   The practice continues to offer services for health management:
