*** The Practice is proposing to join up with Dr Levenson's practice based at Limefield Road, during the middle part of 2015. This is partly in preparation for the move to the new Health Centre on Bury New Road that is currently being built and that should be completed towards the end of 2015. Should any patient have any questions about this or would like to make a comment about the situation, please contact the Reception staff either in person, by telephone  on 0161 792 2142 or by email: newburygreenmedical@nhs.net***

Newbury Green Medical Practice was established on 1st July 2012 from a merger of the practices of Dr Larah and Dr Ghosh at Higher Broughton Health Centre. The practice is to be further expanded in April 2015 by joining with that of Dr Warburton, also based at Higher Broughton. Dr Larah & Partners was originally a family run practice that has passed from father to daughter and had provided primary healthcare services to Salford residents for over 55 years and both Dr Ghosh and Dr Warburton had also been practicing as a GPs in Salford for many years before retirement and leaving the area respectively in January 2015.

The merged practice now has four GP partners, two salaried GPs with 3 practice nurses and 2 assistant practitioners and provides a wide range of services to over 10500 local people. We also undertake the training of new doctors from time to time. The Clinicians are supported by a highly experienced administration team, many of whom have been with us more than ten years and all the staff are committed to providing friendly, efficient and excellent patient service.

We firmly believe in engaging with all our patients with a view to improving systems and processes in what is a challenging and changing time for the health service in general and we welcome any feedback to that effect.
