The surgery Opening Hours are 8:00 - 18:30 each day for the Oswald Medical Centre, Hyndburn Medical Practice and Pritchard Street Surgery at Blackburn.
Pritchard Street Surgery have there half day on a Thursday and close for lunch at 12:30 - Mon, Tues, Wed and Friday surgery is open from 8:00 am until 12:30pm and 13:00pm to 18:30pm each day.
Appointments are put on the system every Friday afternoon for a two week period. Each day there will be thee pre bookable appointments in the morning and the afternoon and the rest of the appointments will be Book on the Day.
If you are being specific as to which GP you want to see then you may have to wait a couple of days to see that particular GP.
If there are no appointnments available on the day you should ask for a Telephone Consultation. The Receptionist will ask you for a few details and your contact telephone number. The GP will ring you during the morning or afternoon surgery and if he feels it is necessary he will bring you down to the surgery for a consultation but you may have to wait a while to be seen.
