PATIENT SURVEY 2012/2013

In January 2913 the Practice met with 3 Villages Patient Representative Group (PRG) to discuss and agree the outlines of a patient satisfaction survey.  When the survey was complete we met again to agree an action plan for 2013.  The findings of the survey can be found on the accociated document and are also available on our website, www.3villages.co.uk and on posters in both surgeries.

Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Jayne Baker, joined us in April 2010.  Jayne has undertaken a degree course which enables her to see patients who in the past would have been seen by a doctor.

She can consult, examine, diagnose and prescribe for problems including sore throats, earache, headached, back ache, joint pains, abdominal pains, rashes, urine infections.  She is also trained to do emergency contraception and family planning.

However, babies under 3 months old, patients with depression or mental health problems, male patients requiring intimate examination and patients with ongoing problems being treated by the doctor should book appointments with a GP and not the nurse practitioner.
