Welcome to The Church Lane Practice. We are a large practice operating over two sites with a wide range of expertise and services but we take particular pride in our friendly, accessible, patient-orientated approach. Our main location is here at Church Lane, with an auxiliary site at The Patrick Doody Clinic in Pelham Road. Administrative and support functions (new registrations, prescriptions, results etc.) are all located at Church Lane. Online appointment booking and prescription requests

You can now book appointments and order repeat prescriptions online. You will need to register with Emis Access to use this facility. This can be done quickly by going directly to the EMIS Access website, Emis Access Website, or by collecting a letter containing your unique log-in details in order to register. This is available from our reception desks. Once you have your log-in details, you can go to the Emis Access Website and book an appointment online or request a repeat prescription from the list available. Please note, only prescriptions that are listed in your record as being repeat items will be shown on the website.

Move To The Nelson Medical Centre

On Tuesday 7th April 2015 we will be opening our new site in The Nelson Health Centre. We will also be changing our name to The Nelson Medical Practice. The Nelson Medical Centre will be a multi-disciplinary facility offering the very best in 21st century healthcare. Please note that both our Church Lane and Patrick Doody sites will be closed from 2nd April 2015. The Nelson Medical Practice will have a wide range of clinicians, appointments and  services  on offer in some of  the most advanced GP facilities available anywhere in the country.
