Appointments available outside our normal opening hours

Extended Hours

We are aware that some patients have difficulty attending the Surgery during our normal opening hours, often due to work commitments, and we are considering the best way to help.

We have a variety of appointment times available outside our usual hours. These will be staffed on a rota and will include some  Tuesday and Thursday  evenings, and a Saturday morning once a month.

They are strictly for patients who cannot attend the Surgery at other times, due to work commitments, and must be booked in advance via the Receptionists, in the usual way. These new appointment times are for routine matters and not for urgent medical problems which happen when the Surgery is closed.

As usual, if urgent problems arise outside normal working hours, OXEMS, our

Out Of Hours Service will be available to help and may be contacted by telephoning the Surgery’s usual number – Oxford 244428, or ring 111, the new NHS emergency number.
