YOU REQUESTED: A late evening surgery offering non-urgent appointments for people who work WE RESPONDED: We offer routine appointments every Monday evening until 8:15 pm so that people who work can visit the doctor without needing to take time off YOU REQUESTED: Telephone consultations WE RESPONDED: We routinely offer appointments for telephone consultations with a GP or the practice nurse YOU REQUESTED: Enough time to discuss your problem with your GP WE RESPONDED: We offer everyone a 15 minute GP consultation - AS STANDARD OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU: We will always see you the same day if your need is urgent We always see the following people the same day if asked to do so: • Children under 5 • Women with problems in pregnancy • The terminally ill We offer non-urgent appointments up to 4 weeks in advance We offer an on-line repeat prescription ordering service HOW YOU CAN HELP US: If you are unable to keep your appointment please let us know so that we can reallocate it to someone else. Even at short notice we may be able to utilise a cancelled appointment Please remember the surgery is not a walk in centre. All consultations are by appointment so that we can treat all our patients as effectively as possible Please do not abuse the late Monday evening service – remember that people who work may find it difficult to access their doctor routinely YOUR VOICE Your patient group actively campaigns on your behalf to ensure our services meet your needs If you would like to find out more or join our patient group please mention it to the receptionist
