The Stop Smoking Service offers a range of treatment options designed to help Birmingham people stop smoking.

All programmes offered by the service are evidence-based and run by trained advisors. Treatments such as nicotine replacement therapies and non-nicotine medications are available.

The service offers a flexible range of treatments, information, advice, guidance and support through group sessions, drop-in clinics and one-to-one sessions at various locations across Birmingham.

Who is it for? 

The service is available to people of all ages living or working in Birmingham who want practical advice and support to give up smoking.

Who delivers it? 

The Stop Smoking Service is delivered by trained stop smoking advisors who offer community clinics within a variety of settings. Call freephone 0800 052 5855 for a list of clinics in your area. 

One-to-one support is available at a number of pharmacies and GP practices across Birmingham with clients invited to attend a minimum of five times, for approximately 20 minutes per visit.
