A clinically focused organisation: Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust was formed on 1 July 2006, following the merger of South Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust, West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service NHS Trust, and Tees East and North Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust (E&N Yorkshire part only).
