Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides a wide range of specialist acute services, including a regional cancer centre, from its two large general hospitals, Gloucestershire Royal and Cheltenham General Hospital and also maternity services at Stroud Maternity Hospital. Our specialist clinicians see patients closer to their homes in the county's community hospitals including Stroud, Berkeley Vale, Forest of Dean, Tewkesbury, the North Cotswolds and Cirencester.
In 2011 The Trust opened its new £29m Women's Centre, a purpose-built facility which has received accolades from women and families for the quality of the environment and facilities for women giving birth.
The Trust has developed groundbreaking services such as its Mobile Chemotherapy Services, and also provides a national lead in Diabetic Retinal Screening and AAA Screening Services.
