We provide a full range of acute clinical services from Northampton General Hospital and Danetre Hospital in Daventry. We also manage community beds at Danetre hospital, Isebrook hospital in Wellingborough and Corby Community Hospital.
As a designated cancer centre, we provide oncology, chemotherapy and radiotherapy services to people living in Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire and South Leicestershire.
We are also the primary stroke centre for Northamptonshire.
Northampton General Hospital is proud of being patient-centred and delivering excellent care to the community we serve. Our aim is to deliver the safest, most clinically effective acute services in the country, focused on the needs of the patient. All elective patients are screened for MRSA and we also screen emergency admissions.
As part of our work to improve clinical outcomes we have embarked on a national patient safety programme and are using benchmark data to continuously monitor our performance and identify areas where we need to improve.
