Overview

HTC

Horton NHS Treatment Centre is operated by Ramsay Health Care UK – one of the largest providers of private healthcare in the country.  You can choose to have your NHS orthopaedic care at Horton NHS Treatment Centre under the Governments’ Choice Programme. We accept patients aged 16 years and over.

Opened in 2006, the hospital provides convenient, effective, high quality treatment for patients on an inpatient and outpatient basis whether medically insured,self-pay or funded by the NHS.

Located in Banbury, Oxfordshire, the purpose built unit has been designed to combine an exceptional standard of patient accommodation with the technical equipment and facilities that modern medicine demands.

All patients are seen by a Consultant, not a junior doctor and diagnostic facilities are available on site.  A team of physiotherapists work closely with our Consultants and nursing staff to ensure optimum recovery.

The fully equipped theatre suite comprises three operating theatres all with laminar air flow. These are particularly suitable for orthopaedic surgery such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacements.

We can accommodate 40 patients overnight in twin and single rooms, all with an en-suite bathroom. In addition we have a Day Case Unit dedicated to patients who will be able to return home on the day of their surgery.

We have excellent levels of cleanliness and very effective infection control methods resulting in very low infection rates. All our facilities are regularly inspected and approved by the Care Quality Commission.

All patients have the reassurance of knowing that a Resident Medical Officer (RMO) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The following services are available for Private patients:

- Diagnostic imaging
- Cosmetic Surgery
- Pain Management
- Dermatology
- Orthopaedics
- Physiotherapy

For NHS appointments, patients should ask their GP for a referral to Horton Treatment Centre. Private patients can call 01295 755074 for appointment enquiries.
