Central Middlesex Hospital in Park Royal is part of The North West London Hospitals NHS Trust. This modern hospital was and opened in 2006 and is the main provider of health services for the residents of Brent.

This local hospital provides specialist services in a modern environment for illnesses common in the local community, including asthma, diabetes and sickle cell. There is an urgent care centre at the hospital, run by CareUK, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week for people with minor illnesses and injuries that are urgent, but not life-threatening.

In 2014 the Care Quality Commission (CQC) judged Central Middlesex Hospital to be meeting all the standards inspected for compliance.

Brent has one of the highest populations of patients with sickle cell disease in the country. The Brent Sickle Cell and Thalessaiemia Centre is based at Central Middlesex Hospital to provide specialist care for patients with the condition.
