Queen Charlotte's main entrance

Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital is world-renowned for its maternity, women's and neonatal services. The hospital is a tertiary referral maternity unit with a nationally renowned centre for foetal care. Its labour ward has two fully equipped operating theatres adjacent to high-dependency care facilities. 

With excellent and extensive high-risk services, the hospital cares for many women with complicated pregnancies. For women with uncomplicated pregnancies who would like a natural childbirth experience, the hospital also has a midwife-led birth centre. The tertiary foetal medicine unit at Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital is supported by a tertiary neonatal intensive care unit, which has a strong reputation for clinical and academic excellence. 

Queen Charlotte's & Chelsea Hospital is also home to West London Gynaecological Cancer Centre and the oldest continually operating milk bank in the world.
