Hemel Hempstead General Hospital is a vibrant local general hospital currently undergoing a significant redevelopment programme to considerably improve the general environment for our patients. Our new 24/7 Urgent Care Centre offers patients with minor illness and injuries an alternative to a busy A&E department.
We provide a wide range of outpatient services, intermediate care beds, tests and investigations to deliver a first rate healthcare service to the people of Hemel Hempstead and surrounding areas. In spring 2009 a new GP-led health centre opened, offereing walk-in or pre-booked appointments from 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week.
Hemel Hempstead General Hospital is situated on Hillfield Road in Hemel Hempstead town centre, minutes from the main bus station.
