What I liked:
I was a patient for day surgery and every single member of staff I came into contact with - the nurses, the consultant, the anaesthetist, the porter, the ward clerk - were wonderful. It was the first time I had had a general anaesthetic so I was very apprehensive, but I felt cared for and as though all my needs and concerns were taken seriously. I loved the feeling of genuine interest in my care which I felt came from being treated in such a small hospital.
What could be improved:
It would be lovely to see some investment in the hospital building.
Anything else?
It is likely that I will be re-admitted shortly and I will have no worries this time. I particularly like the continuity of being in contact with the same nurses.
