OUR RESPONSIBILTIES TO YOU

You will be treated as an individual in the care and attention that ou receive and should be shown courtesy and respect.

Following discussion you will receive the most appropriate care, and this will be given by a suitably qualified member of staff, no care of treatment will be given without your consent.

Be referred to consultant when their GP or Nurse thinks it necessary and to be referred for a second opinion if they and their clinician agree to this

Have access to your own Health records, subject to any limitations of the law, and to know those working under the NHS have a legal obligation to keep their confidentiality.

Chose whether or not to take part in medical research or student training.

Any patient between the ages of 17 and 74 years are entitled to a health check if they so desire. Annual health checks for the over 75’s if necessary.

Receive full and prompt reply to any complaint made regarding the NHS.
