Thank you to al who have commented and hope you are all better. All comments very useful to a medical ignoramus! I am caring for a wife with this horrid bug, an coping OK, but friends left yesterday morning just as she was starting. I have also been in contact with various outsiders as I had to take a dog to the vet and do some shopping. It has become obvous that it is this bug that she has. So far I am OK with no sign but I am worried that I might be infectious before the symptoms show. I can see nothing on the website that indicates when infectiousness starts. Does anyone know the answer to this? Clearly one must be very careful not to spread this horrid bug, but at what stage are we infectious? My thanks to anyone who can advise.
