I just tried to have an ius fitted this afternoon but was in so much pain and got very faint so i had to ask them to stop before the ius was fitted. It was an awful experience and i can't believe they don't offer sedation for this kind of procedure. Does anybody know if there is a way you could be put under for the insertion of an ius? I don't like being on the pill but i can't go through that again.
