I'm a big fan of the flu jab and would have paid for it privately if not offered. I wasn't ill afterwards, just felt a little as though I was coming down with something. I have mild COPD and dread colds/ flu as I frequently get chest infections afterwards. My last was broncho pneumonia in the autumn 2011.I woke up a five days ago with a bad cold.Coughed and coughed gunk up, had crackles and wheezing. Felt pre pleuresy. This has now stopped and doc says chest is clear, though I do have sinusitus. I can't help but think the flu jab may have helped here. Plus pineapple of course...
