I recieved the Cervarix injection the first year they started, in 2008. Since then i have contracted a diffrent strand of HPV, most likely to be the type 6 or 11, that there is a vaccine called Gardasil which could have been given to prevent me contracting it. This will change the rest of my life, and i'm disgusted that it could've been prevented if the NHS had administered a vaccination that protects against the most common STI in the UK.
